Highlands Irrigation has built its reputation by offering
our customers first class service. We strive to understand
each individual requirement and react to our customer’s
concerns. Our Services include onsite consultation, with no
obligation, to help our customers design their complete system.
We deliver throughout BC and the Yukon and we do installations
when required.
For both our Agricultural and Domestic
customers, Highlands carries the largest stock of aluminum
pipe in BC. We also stock culvert
pipe, PVC pipe and fittings, and poly pipe as well as
a large inventory of Irrigation parts and several sizes of
Hose Reels. In the
late summer and early autumn we carry all makes of Livestock
Waterers. In addition to our extensive inventory, our
reliable manufacturers are available to supply pumps, pipe
and field equipment appropriate to the design requirements
of each installation.
In our Domestic division every customer’s
needs are assessed individually, to ensure the best continual
quality of water supply to their home. Rob
Moon, the manager of our Domestic division will do hardness
and iron testing on your water right in our office, while
you wait and free of charge. Our potability (water quality)
testing is sent from our office to a lab and normally results
are back to you within 3 to 4 days. After careful consultation,
we recommend the water system suited for your needs. At Highlands,
we stock and supply pumps and tanks, water softeners and iron
removal systems, reverse osmosis units and U.V. treatment
systems for all your domestic
water needs.
For our ranchers and farmers, whom we refer to as our Agricultural
Customers, we design systems based on accepted Irrigation
practices monitored by the Irrigation Association of BC. Customer’s
preferences are combined with basic principles to ensure an
efficient system. Our pump and piping systems are also designed
within accepted industry standards with regard to pressure
and flow.
Using a variety of courier services, we offer overnight shipment
to most areas of BC.
Our office is open 6 days a week in the spring and summer,
Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. until the work is done and Saturdays
from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In the autumn and winter, we are open
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
